Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eugene). Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 82-51 stomp they got against the Capital City Cavaliers. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Eugene pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Capital City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Eugene didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-52 defeat against Helias on the 29th. As for Capital City, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rock Bridge at 7:30 p.m. on January 7th.
