Football Game Preview: Carey Panthers vs. Dietrich Blue Devils + How To Watch

Carey is 8-2 against Dietrich since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Carey is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Carey against Rockland as the team secured a 54-24 victory. Considering the Panthers have won four games by more than 29 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Stockton Sears produced another solid performance rushing for 331 yards and four TDs on only 14 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards. Gabe Saili was another key player, picking up 53 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Carey was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 447 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 210 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.

Carey's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB ten times. Tripp Bailey and Saili were the leaders of the group effort as each produced three apiece.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 54-12, which was the final score in Dietrich's tilt against Hansen on Friday. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carey will have to contain Chase Norman as he made an impact in Dietrich's last game. He picked up 64 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 34 yards and one TD.

Carey's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Dietrich, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Carey strolled past Dietrich in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 44-30. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
