Leading Marquette Catholic to victory were Colson Dobre and JJ Welch. Dobre scored ten points along with seven rebounds, while Welch scored 22 points along with six rebounds. The game was Welch's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rodney Wash, who scored five points.
Marquette Catholic pushed their record up to 4-1 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.9 points per game. As for Oregon-Davis, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marquette Catholic will take on Elkhart Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Oregon-Davis won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Tri-Township at 6:30 p.m. on December 16th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Tri-Township is ranked 430th, while Oregon-Davis is ranked 444th).
