The Old Bridge Knights will head out on the road to take on the Morristown Colonials at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Old Bridge is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Old Bridge made easy work of East Brunswick and carried off a 31-7 win. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Bears are ranked 277th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Brody Nugent continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 110 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 71 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season. Jeremiah Dixon handled things on the ground, rushing for 104 yards.

Morristown might have lost, but man, Reed Donegan was a machine: he rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Donegan showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 63 yards. Another player making a difference was James Dzikowski, who threw for 192 yards and two touchdowns.
Morristown wouldn't let Mount Olive keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Chase Bright, Donegan, and Ryan Myers picked up one apiece. The dominant performance gave Donegan a new career-high in rushing yards.
Old Bridge now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Morristown, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
