Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Narbonne). They came out on top against the Wilson Mules by a score of  19-15  on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Gauchos considering their one-run performance the  game before.
 Narbonne let  Lilliana Gutierrez and  Delilah Celio run wild. Gutierrez  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances, while  Celio  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Those  two  runs gave  Celio a new career-high.  Elyse Martinez was another key player,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
Narbonne's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 11-1. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Wilson, they now  have a losing record of 4-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Narbonne will square off against Banning at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Wilson and Franklin will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 3:00  p.m.  on  the 9th. This will  be the Mules' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
