If Pittsfield were riding high off their 38-6 takedown of Chicopee two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Pittsfield have to be aching after a bruising 28-50 defeat to South Hadley last Friday. The state rankings had actually given Pittsfield a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing eight points in their last game, Hoosac Valley made sure to put some points up on the board against Chicopee. Hoosac Valley were the clear victor by a 35-6 margin over Chicopee. The success made it back-to-back wins for Hoosac Valley.
Pittsfield have to be hurting after a devastating 0-32 defeat at the hands of Hoosac Valley the last time the two teams met. Can Pittsfield avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
