The Trinity Prep Crusaders lost against the Napa Christian Knights back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Trinity Prep took a serious blow against Napa Christian, falling 80-50. Trinity Prep has not had much luck with Napa Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Leading Napa Christian to victory were Aidan Dayco-Green and Breydan Worth. Dayco-Green scored 23 points along with three steals, while Worth scored 22 points along with seven assists and six steals. Worth is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Obinna (Obi) Ekezie, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and five blocks.
Trinity Prep's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Napa Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Prep will challenge Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Napa Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Woodland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
