The Archbold Blue Streaks are on the road again on Saturday to play the Defiance Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m.
Archbold is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 16 runs two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Anthony Wayne on Saturday. They lost 12-1 to the Generals.
Meanwhile, Defiance put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Friday. They put the hurt on Fostoria with a sharp 12-2 win. The victory was nothing new for Defiance as they're now sitting on four straight.
Brady Borton was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Torin Long, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Archbold's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Defiance, their win bumped their record up to 18-4.
