The White House Blue Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Beech Buccaneers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games White House has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
White House took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Macon County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Blue Devils beat the Tigers on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-3.
Izzabelle Hampton made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Beech ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Station Camp 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Buccaneers have posted since March 24, 2025.
Brianna Buckley spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up seven Ks. Those seven strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, Briella Andrade was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That hit marked the first that she has got this season.
White House's record now sits at 3-7. As for Beech, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.
White House might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Beech when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
