Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minden). They never let the Wossman Wildcats onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Thursday. The Crimson Tide's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Minden's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Wossman, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minden will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bossier at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
