After losing to the Central Lake Trojans the last time they met, the Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Grand Traverse Academy blew past Central Lake 51-31.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grand Traverse Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sadie Brown, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Bell, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Grand Traverse Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Central Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Grand Traverse Academy will head out on the road to face off against Mancelona at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Lake will be home for the holidays to greet Boyne Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
