As for Cornerstone, there's no need to mince words: it lost to Life Prep last week, and it lost bad. The score wound up at 56 - 8. Unfortunately, Cornerstone could not reproduce its 42-point effort from the game before, which might not have made for a win but would have at least kept things closer.
Cornerstone's defeat dropped it to 3-2 while Wright Christian's victory brought it to 3-3. We'll see if Wright Christian can add another positive mark to its record or if Cornerstone can shake its loss and take the spring out of Wright Christian's step.
