Two weeks ago, Foundation Christian Academy made easy work of Gibbs and carried off a 19-1 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 11 runs or more this season.

Caleb Hom made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.
In other batting news, Foundation Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Henry Salter, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. What's more, Salter posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Rolland Williams, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, Sarasota Military Academy came into Tuesday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on The Classical Academy of Sarasota with a sharp 12-1 victory on Tuesday.
Like Foundation Christian Academy, Sarasota Military Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Boston Villidoniga. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Furthermore, Villidoniga didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Keller Button and Keyler Delrio did most of the damage at the plate: Button scored three runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4, while Delrio went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Button has become a key player for Sarasota Military Academy: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-8 otherwise. Tyler Leon was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Sarasota Military Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Foundation Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-1-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Sarasota Military Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-9.
