There's no place like home for Kossuth, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Alcorn Central Bears on Friday as they made off with a 9-1 win. The contest marked the Aggies' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Kossuth is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Alcorn Central, they dropped their record down to 13-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
