The Edgewood Red Wolves entered their tilt with the Space Coast Vipers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Edgewood sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-47 victory over the Vipers on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for Edgewood, as the team was forced to settle for a 58-48 loss when these two played two weeks ago.
Edgewood got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeffrey Almeda out in front who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Almeda has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Clark, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Edgewood pushed their record up to 7-13 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Space Coast, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.
Edgewood will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Minutemen at 7:00 p.m. Cocoa Beach has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 196 points over their last three games. As for Space Coast, they will head out on the road to square off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Shore is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
