Last Friday, things could have been worse for Tom Bean, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-32 loss to Wolfe City. Tom Bean has struggled against Wolfe City recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Allie Hickman, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Madisyn Capps, who scored eight points.
Even though Honey Grove has not done well against Sam Rayburn recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Honey Grove secured a 39-34 W over Sam Rayburn. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Honey Grove.
Tom Bean's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Honey Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.
