Hicks was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lake Charles College Prep on Tuesday. The Hicks Pirates put the hurt on the Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers with a sharp 15-7 win. Considering the Pirates have won ten contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hicks has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.8 runs. Lake Charles College Prep is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Coming up, Hicks is taking a road trip to face off against Rapides at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Charles College Prep, they will welcome Oakdale at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
