Northshore got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Slidell Tigers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Northshore's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Slidell, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Northshore will square off against Salmen at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Slidell, they will challenge Fontainebleau at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
