The North Mac Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pawnee Indians at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
 Last Friday, North Mac sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  an  8-7  win over Greenville. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for North Mac.
  Lennox Wiseman was  incredible,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Ines Ortigosa was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Pawnee entered their tilt with Nokomis with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Redskins  6-5.
 North Mac pushed their record up to 7-4 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.3 runs per game. As for Pawnee, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
 North Mac came out on top in a nail-biter against Pawnee  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023, sneaking past  6-4. Does  North Mac have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pawnee turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
