It was a good run, but Century unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Esko Eskomos.

Laney Stellmaker paced Century's offense, picking up six kills. Stellmaker really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight. Finally, Mary Amusan kept Century's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Century's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Esko, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Century didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Rosemount on the 2nd. Esko has also already played their next game (against Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia]), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
