Lyndon will be playing at home against Troy at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Lyndon will be strutting in after a win while Troy will be stumbling in from a loss.
Lyndon didn't have too many spare points in their game with Jefferson County North last Friday, but they still walked away with a 27-22 victory. Lyndon found Lyndon's leader in underclassman sophomore Miles Kitselman, who rushed for 67 yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, with 11 tackles Wells was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Troy, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They and Jackson Heights were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an agonizing 7-8 defeat. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
Troy's defeat took them down to 3-3 while Lyndon's win pulled them up to 3-3. In their victory, Lyndon relied heavily on sophomore Miles Kitselman, who rushed for 67 yards and 2 touchdowns. Troy will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
