Leading Basalt to victory were  Elias Schendler and  Luke Williams.  Schendler  almost  dropped  a double-double on 19  points and nine  boards, while  Williams  posted 11  points and five  steals. Pena is  crushing it when it comes to  rebounds: he's   pulled down at least 11 every time he's  taken the court this season.
Basalt moved to 4-4 with that  victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Roaring Fork,  with the  loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3.
