The Polo Marcos entered their tilt with Clinton/Prince of Peace Prep with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Polo secured a 48-44 W over the on Saturday.
Carter Merdian went supernova for Polo, scoring 11 points along with seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Brock Soltow, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
Polo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Clinton/Prince of Peace Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Polo will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Cougars at 7:30 a.m. Clinton/Prince of Peace Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
