Thomas MacLaren School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jake Frisbie, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds and four steals. It was the first time this season that Frisbie pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Hanks, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Colorado Springs Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Miguel Cota-cordova, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. Micah Akpata was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
The win got Thomas MacLaren School back to even at 8-8. As for Colorado Springs Christian, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
