It was a good run, but the Clarkstown North Rams unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak dating back to last season on Wednesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (60-39), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Rockland apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Rockland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sarai Gurley, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Kiersten Daly, who scored 15 points.
Clarkstown North's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North Rockland, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Clarkstown North will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Port Chester at 5:00 p.m. on January 29th. As for North Rockland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Joseph Hill Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Joseph Hill Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Rockland in New York (St. Joseph Hill Academy is ranked 31st, while North Rockland is ranked 198th).
