While North Moore couldn't quite beat Graham on Friday, the three-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 22-point defeat they were dealt on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cummings fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Jordan-Matthews on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Jets by a score of 69-67. Cummings' defeat continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it three in a row.
North Moore dropped their record down to 6-14 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Cummings, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Things could have been worse for North Moore, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 65-50 loss to Cummings when the teams last played back in January.
