Dorman found their leader in sophomore Makayla Moore, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists. Those ten assists set a new season-high mark for Moore. Another player making a difference was Morgan White, who went 7 for 10 on her way to 14 points.
Dorman was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chapin only posted seven assists.
Chapin's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reagan Haggard, who went 9 of 15 on her way to 19 points and six boards. That's the most points Haggard has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Holmes, who posted eight points.
The victory (which was Dorman's third in a row) raised their record to 7-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Chapin, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Dorman (ranked 25th) will meet Chapman (ranked 109th) at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dorman is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.3 points per game this season. Similarly, Chapin (ranked 83rd) will meet Christ Church Episcopal (ranked 203rd) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
