East Forsyth has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mount Tabor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles will host the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. East Forsyth is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
East Forsyth took a eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Davie, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the War Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since March 22nd.
Allie Cox spent all 11 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on nine hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Irelynn Price was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three doubles and three RBI. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Long, who scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-6.
Price wasn't the only one making solid contact: East Forsyth kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. The Eagles are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mount Tabor, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past R.J. Reynolds 16-1 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Demons: they've now won eight in a row.
The team relied heavily on Mia Tarpley-Quintanilla, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI. Alexa Babcock was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with five RBI, one run, and one double.
East Forsyth pushed their record up to 9-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Mount Tabor, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Mount Tabor's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. East Forsyth has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.3 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Mount Tabor, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.1 strikeouts. Will East Forsyth keep running through batters, or will the Spartans buck the trend?
East Forsyth took their victory against Mount Tabor when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 17-5 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
