Hogan Prep Charter pushed their score all the way to 61 two weeks ago, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Pius X.
Meanwhile, the stars were shining brightly for Montgomery County in a 69-51 win over North Callaway on Tuesday. Given Montgomery County's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while North Callaway is ranked 378th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hogan Prep Charter's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3. As for Montgomery County, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
