Scappoose has been on the road for two straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Tillamook Cheesemakers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Scappoose is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Cheesemakers in Oregon (the Indians are ranked 95th, while the Cheesemakers are ranked 218th).
Even though Scappoose has not done well against the Cheesemakers recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Scappoose took down the Cheesemakers 65-46. The win was just what Scappoose needed coming off of a 51-22 loss in their prior game.
Scappoose found their leader in underclassman Elijah Greenan biggs, who scored 19 points along with five assists and two steals. Quinton Olson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Scappoose now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Tillamook, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Scappoose strolled past the Cheesemakers in their previous matchup on Saturday by a score of 65-46. Does Scappoose have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cheesemakers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
