Last Tuesday, Verbena was beaten by the Blue Devils 86-45. Verbena has struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Billingsley was the victim of a rough 63-42 defeat at the hands of the Bobcats on Tuesday.
Billingsley's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Mason Truesdale, who scored nine points along with three steals, and Kyle Boice who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. Hudson Manning was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Verbena's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Billingsley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
