Thunderbird Adventist Academy found out winning isn't easy when you're outrebounded 28 to 6 on offense.
Despite the loss, Thunderbird Adventist Academy still got an impressive performance from Katy Bayer, who scored 5 points.
Leading Arrowhead Christian Academy to victory were Isabella Hernandez and Kyra Beilke. Hernandez scored 10 points along with 8 steals and 6 rebounds, while Beilke scored 8 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Iliana Luttenegger, who scored 6 points along with 11 rebounds.
Thunderbird Adventist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Arrowhead Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Thunderbird Adventist Academy will be playing at home against Sonoran Science Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arrowhead Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Ville de Marie Academy at 5:35 p.m. on Friday.
