Pahranagat Valley is a perfect 9-0 against Mountain View Christian since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will host the Saints at 3:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pahranagat Valley has four straight victories, Mountain View Christian has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Friday, Pahranagat Valley made easy work of Sandy Valley and carried off a 19-4 win. Considering the Panthers have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Keadin (CJ) Christian made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Pahranagat Valley let Todd Hansen and Bronson Fiatoa run wild. Hansen went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Fiatoa went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Pahranagat Valley is undefeated when Hansen posts two or more runs, but 6-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Thiriot, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Pahranagat Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Mountain View Christian lost 20-4 to Beaver Dam on Friday.
Luka Lakicevic was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Mountain View Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Pahranagat Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.
Pahranagat Valley took their win against Mountain View Christian when the teams last played back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 20-1 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Saints have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
