The Manchester Township Hawks waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Monmouth Regional by a score of 52-43.
Devyn Quigley was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it 22 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Manchester Township's points. Another player making a difference was Madeline Nolan, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Manchester Township is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Monmouth Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.
Manchester Township will head out on the road to square off against Toms River South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monmouth Regional, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Linden at 4:00 p.m. on February 7th.
