The Wake County HomeSchool Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Jordan Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Wake County HomeSchool, who comes in off a win.
Wake County HomeSchool barely beat Charlotte S the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Wake County HomeSchool blew past Charlotte S 11-1 on Saturday. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Wake County HomeSchool got a great performance from Carter Firebaugh as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Firebaugh has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Avery Martin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Austin Clark was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
Wake County HomeSchool always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Jordan came up short against Orange on Friday and fell 6-2. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
The victory (which was Wake County HomeSchool's third in a row) raised their record to 5-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Jordan, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Wake County HomeSchool has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Jordan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Wake County HomeSchool suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Jordan in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Wake County HomeSchool avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
