Despite the defeat, Continental saw an underclassman step up: Olivia Crossgrove scored four points along with 11 rebounds and four blocks. Crossgrove is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Continental's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Fairview, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Continental will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Holgate at 7:30 p.m. As for Fairview, they will head out on the road to face off against Delta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
