The Knippa Crushers will take on the Charlotte Trojans at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Knippa is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They walked away with a 14-9 win over Leakey.

Memphis G
| 03/03/26 vs Leakey | 5 |
| 04/28/25 @ Charlotte | 2 |
| 04/04/25 vs La Pryor | 2 |
| 03/21/25 vs Falls City | 2 |
| 03/14/25 @ D'Hanis | 2 |
Memphis G was excellent, going 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Collins, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.
While Charlotte didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-10 victory over Pettus on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since March 7, 2025.
Anthony Sanchez made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Sanchez was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on David Luna, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jayden Romero, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Knippa got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Charlotte by a conclusive 10-3 score. Will the Crushers repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
