In other batting news, Nevaeh Alexander was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Alexander is crushing it when it comes to hits: she's got at least three every time she's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Morgan Swann, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
Lee Park Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Christian's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Tuesday. They fell 9-4 to High Point Christian Academy. The loss was the Knights' first of the season.
Anna Hinde was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Katarina Kay also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Lee Park Prep pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11 runs. As for Charlotte Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
Both Lee Park Prep and Charlotte Christian just can't seem to miss. Lee Park Prep has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 13.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Charlotte Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4 hits.
