After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Griffith, Highland was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Whiting Oilers with points to spare, taking the game 28-13. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Oilers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Highland back to even at 1-1. As for Whiting, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Highland and Whiting will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans are set to square off against their familiar foe Hanover Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Whiting will challenge rival Hammond Bishop Noll at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
