Riverdale is on a ten-game streak of home losses, Siegel a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Riverdale Warriors will take on the Siegel Stars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Riverdale came up short against Rockvale and fell 60-47. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Riverdale in their matchups with Rockvale: they've now lost six in a row.
Siegel suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 47-17 loss at the hands of Blackman. While losing is never fun, Siegel can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while Blackman is ranked 42nd).
Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Siegel, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
