The Little River Redskins put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Goessel 68-17 at home. Little River has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 27 points or more this season.
Aubrey Olander continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Arika Feldman, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Little River pushed their record up to 14-0 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Goessel, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Little River will take on the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Canton-Galva will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Redskins are ranked 30th). As for Goessel, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the at 6:00 p.m.
