Lincoln Southeast proved they can win big last Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Grand Island Islanders 2-1. That's more bragging rights for Lincoln Southeast, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jayden Fullerton and Koa White scored both of Lincoln Southeast's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Lincoln Southeast's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three games. As for Grand Island, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
