Fayette County owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Curry Yellowjackets. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Tyler Johnson looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance gave him a new career-low in hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kason Rushing, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That stolen base was his first of the season. Brady Stocks was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.

Fayette County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .355 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Fayette County's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-11. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Curry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
