The Beggs Demons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell to Henryetta 45-39. Beggs was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Henryetta apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played last Saturday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Henryetta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Talon Weaver, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Greenhaw, who scored ten points.
Beggs has not been sharp recently as the team has lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Henryetta, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Beggs will play host again and welcome Okmulgee, where tip off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Henryetta, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-44 victory vs. Okemah on the 9th.
