Miramonte won the last time they faced Campolindo and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Matadors blew past the Cougars 16-1. Considering the Matadors have won eight matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Abby Warren made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Miramonte got a massive performance out of Talia Kardon, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Gianna Granzella, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Miramonte always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .650. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Miramonte has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Campolindo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Miramonte didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-12 victory against Berean Christian on the 8th. As for Campolindo, they have also already played their next match, a 16-6 defeat against Concord on the 8th.
