Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kellam). They blew past the First Colonial Patriots 89-19 on Monday. With the Knights ahead 60-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Kellam's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mia Spain, who almost dropped a double-double on 30 points and nine assists. Spain has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last five times she's played. Kate Spain was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine assists.

Kellam smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 13 consecutive games.

Kellam pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for First Colonial, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Kellam will square off against Ocean Lakes at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Kellam is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.5 points per game this season. As for First Colonial, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-40 defeat against Cox on the 28th.
