It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Good Hope had no problem doing just that on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-7 margin over the Danville Hawks. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Good Hope, bringing their record up to 24-11-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Danville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-21 record this season.

Good Hope does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Danville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-2 victory against West Morgan on the 28th.
