Meanwhile, Lincoln entered their tilt with Mira Mesa on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Marauders.
Lincoln took Mira Mesa into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 19-25, 21-25, 15-7.
Clairemont's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.
