Petersburg hadn't done well against Crosbyton recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Monday.  In other batting news,  KYNLEE OVALLE was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with four  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.  E Rendon was another key player,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
Petersburg's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-9. As for Crosbyton, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 5-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Petersburg will welcome Kress  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Crosbyton, they will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Petersburg at 4:00  p.m.  on April 8.
