For the second straight game, Theodore will face off against Murphy. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Theodore Bobcats  duke it out with  Murphy Panthers at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
Theodore took a loss when they played away from home  on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Wednesday. They blew past Murphy 11-1. Considering the Bobcats have won nine matches by more than six  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Chase Caine made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with one  triple and two  RBI. Those  two  RBI gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Theodore got a  massive  performance out of  Jaden Davis, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Austin Youngblood, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-3.
 Theodore was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .308 or higher in three consecutive  games.
 Murphy is  on  a  30-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-23. As for Theodore, they moved to 9-14 with that  win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.
